Secretly recorded conversations between Kruse Wellwood - one of the young persons convicted of killing Kimberly Proctor near Victoria - and his mother reveal a difficult relationship, sometimes violence.
Police records calls between Kruse Wellwood and his mother while Wellwood and co-accused Cameron Moffat were awaiting trial for the rape and murder of Proctor, 18 years old, near Victoria.
The day after his arrest in March 2010, Wellwood called his mother, Nadine Wellwood and tried to convince them to communicate with his girlfriend, despite a court order prohibiting this contact.
When her mother refused, he triggered a barrage of insults, calling it "an idiot" and "a loser".
Later, Nadine Wellwood asked him why he had no remorse or understanding of how his actions had poorly the Proctor family and his own.

"You're an idiot", he repeated. "You done anything in your life.".

Wellwood, 17 and Moffat, 18, ultimately pleaded guilty of the murder first degree of Proctor, which they admitted that they attracted to the Wellwood House, then raped, tortured and suffocated him before set fire to his remains.
The pair was sentenced to life imprisonment without possibility of parole for at least 10 years.
Wellwood father, Robert Dezwaan, is serving life for the murder of cherish Oppenheim, 16, Merritt, British Columbia Colombia, in 2001.
The authorities have released transcripts of dozens of conversations, including conversations between Wellwood and Moffat in which they are preparing their attack on Proctor, online chats with Proctor establishment the appointment which would lead to his death.
